FIELDREADY HVAC FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Clear answers about who FieldReady is being built for, its intended training-coach role, and what is available today.

Who is FieldReady for?

FieldReady HVAC is being developed for new HVAC technicians and apartment maintenance workers. Small HVAC teams, apartment maintenance employers, and the people who coach them are also part of the intended audience.

What role is FieldReady intended to play?

FieldReady is intended to be a training coach for practice and for thinking through possible next steps. It should support reflection, not make decisions for someone. If a task is unfamiliar or you are unsure what to do, pause and seek support from a qualified person at your workplace.

Does FieldReady replace hands-on experience?

No. FieldReady does not replace hands-on experience, supervised practice, or coaching from qualified people. It is intended to support learning alongside that experience.

Does FieldReady qualify or certify someone as a technician?

No. Using FieldReady does not qualify or certify anyone as an HVAC technician. It is a learning and practice resource, not a credential or certification program.

What can learners use today?

An authenticated learner workflow is available for a technician-reviewed lesson. Lesson material appears only after the FieldReady owner supplies it and a technician reviews and publishes it. If that material is not available, the learner page shows no lesson instructions.

Which FieldReady features are still in development?

The public training coach, interactive service-call practice, and small-team coaching and progress tools are in development and are not currently available. Their planned scope is to support practice and coaching, not to replace qualified judgment or hands-on training.
